Sermon by Venerable Luangta Maha Bua Yannasampanno

The Venerable Luangta Maha Bua told the story of

“leopards”

Leopards used to sneak in to eat dogs that go with human. Wherever there were human, leopards would go. They would spy on to see whether there were dogs with human or not. If no dogs, they would run away. If having dogs, they would get the dogs. They would catch the dogs when they were careless. Leopards are clever, they eat dogs (that go with) human. But tigers wouldn’t come. They were not interested. But with leopards, wherever we were, they would be hiding. But if no dogs, they would go. Even if they went away, they would still spy on us constantly. They found dogs as food. To stay in forest, there are many things to learn there.

In former time, it’s not the same like now. Nowadays we talk about things in the past. The real one does not exist anymore. Those tigers, leopards, elephants, bears, were everywhere previously. Now they are all gone. These animals are all gone. They exist only in the sanctuaries, e.g. Khao Yai, Phu Luang. They can’t be found in any other places nowadays!
