A Part of the sermon given by

Venerable Luangta Maha Bua Yannasampanno

At Wat Pa Ban Taad Forest Monastery, Udornthani Province

10 th September 2005

“I have gone to Kanchanaburi often, mostly to Wat Pa Luangta Bua Forest Monastery, the Tiger Temple . It becomes a temple because a piece of land there was donated to me for building a temple. So, monks have stayed there, but later tigers have come. It, then, becomes the tiger temple. They are so lovely, aren’t they. They-tigers don’t do any to anyone. I asked whether they used to harm anyone…no, never. It seems like ten or more tigers there. When I have time, I will visit the tiger temple.

Now they are going to build a place for tigers, built as a tunnel, about 30 Rai, under the supervision of people and monks. Now they are going to build the rooms separately for each tiger within the area like a cave or whatever is called within the 30 Rai for their living. They remember their owner precisely, like Than Chan (The Abbot-Pra Acharn Chan) When seeing him, they will fixed their eyes on him which means they remember him….his owner has come. When he comes, their eyes immediately focus on him, they know!! “
