Donation of Land

Sermon by Venerable Luangta Maha Bua Yannasampanno
A part of the sermon at Suansaengtham, Bangkok
On 24th April 2003 (a.m.)

“….I must be responsible for the monastery accepted by me. In the Central Region are Wat Pa Luangta Bua, this must find the monk to accept as the owner(the abbot); and Wat Phurithatta which I invited Acharn Chia to stay, he (Acharn Chia) accepted and has stayed until now. So, I accepted only two monasteries. There have been many offerings for me but I cannot accept. I have reason for that. I have principle for accepting, not to just accept. That’s why I can accept only two monasteries, this one and Wat Pa Luangta Bua. Muang Kan (Kanchanaburi) is a wild area, a proper place for meditation. It’s a proper location, this Wat Pa Luangta Bua. That’s why I accepted the land offered to me. So, it becomes the Tiger Monastery there…"
