22 April 2006- Venerable Luangta Maha Bua kindly visited the Abbot -Phra Acharn Chan at Tiger Temple

On Sunday 16 th April , after coming out of hospital, the Abbot-Phra Acharn Chan paid respects to Venerable Luangta at Suan Saeng Dham (as it was the time when “Luangta” stayed in Bangkok). He, then, went back to the temple instantly.

Early morning of 22 nd April, the Temple received a phone saying that “Luangta” told to inform that today they would move an army to visit the temple. After breakfast, “Luangta” made his trip. Phra Acharn was not quite strong yet. But upon the arrival of “Luangta”, he looked as if not ill at all. He greeted “Luangta” by taking only 2 adult tigers for “Luangta” to stroke them on the heads. Venerable Luangta kindly visited the other tigers inside the inner cage.

Along the way to the pavilion, “Luangta” asked Phra Acharn about many animals while passing the wild houses, baking deer, and gaurs. Phra Acharn informed him of the gaurs that came down from the mountain and now are tamed. A black goat came to greet and led the group to the pavilion, another white goat did the same as though they did their duty as a host.

On the pavilion “Luangta” gave a sermon and had a rest for a while, walked to greet the 4-small tigers sitting on the pavilion, then left the temple. On that day, he brought with him animal and tiger foods loaded in 3 lorries transporting in advance. In addition, there was a loaded-truck of fruits for Phra Acharn Chan, in particular 6 cases of Chinese pears. Furthermore, “Luangta” gave Phra Acharn Baht100,000, making everyone feel rejoice stating Sathu loudly.

On that day, upon being informed, the temple announced Luangta’s visit on the foundation’s radio station at FM 93.25 promptly; As a result, those living nearby hurriedly came to the temple to pay respects to “Luangta”. His special sermon was also on the live broadcast. It was such a kindness of him and a blessing for those attended.

Next morning, Phra Acharn said today he will have his one-meal breakfast with only Chinese pears the special fruits from “Luangta”. We all wish Phra Acharn well as soon as possible and asked him not to work hard any more…this will happen only all of us (and all tigers) must share his work..YES?
