Wat Pa Luangta
Maha Bua Yannasampanno Foundation ( Tiger Temple )
requires… Joint-Sponsor
for research fund In the project regarding tigers
or wild animals living in this monastery
The Foundation has announced to give the research
funds on the project regarding tigers or wild animals living in
the Monastery with reason that since in 1999 at Wat Pa Luangta Bua Yannasampanno Forest Monastery
( Tiger Temple ) ,
Villagers had taken injured tigers and the orphans to the monastery
for tending. Out of compassion, Pra Acharn Phusit (Chan)
Kantitharo (The Abbot) has taken care of them until they
grow up and have their own cubs. As a result, there is project
on "the New-Home for Tigers" in 2004,
so that the tigers living in this monastery can live freely. In
addition, it will serve as a place to rehabilitate new cubs for
returning back to the forest.
Thus, for the accomplishment of this project and for academic
benefit to the study of tigers and wild animals, this year the
Foundation gives research funds, emphasizing on the study as follows:
- To conduct research on the species of tigers or wild animals
living in this monastery
- To conduct research in preparation for freeing tigers back
to the forest

of tigers or wild animals.
The Foundation , hereby, makes announcement to
seek sponsor in the research fund project jointly with the foundation, by
